'The Good Dinosaur' Finds Composer

The incredibly talented Thomas Newman is coming back to Pixar, as he recently revealed that he'll be composing the studio's upcoming 2014 flick, The Good Dinosaur, directed by Bob Peterson.

This will mark Newman's third time collaborating with Pixar, after Finding Nemo (2003) and WALL-E (2008), both helmed by Andrew Stanton. I am a huge fan of Newman's scores for both these films, and no doubt he will once more provide a phenomenal score that pulls at the heartstrings and carries the story.

So now, for your listening pleasure, here are two of the most beautiful tracks Newman has done for Pixar, which I am sure you are already quite familiar with and enjoy as much as I do.

You can hear Thomas Newman's latest film score when The Good Dinosaur hits theaters May 30th, 2014.
